“Allah” is simply the Arabic word for God, just as “Dios” is the Spanish word for God or “Dieu” is the French word for God. It’s one and the same God. Thus also, Arabic speaking Christians, for example, will use the word “Allah” in their prayers when referring to God. Allah is not exclusive to Islam, and is the same Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent Creator that followers of all monotheistic religions worship.
One God/One Religion
[Quran 29:46] ..."We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters."
[22:34] For each congregation we have decreed rites whereby they commemorate the name of GOD for providing them with the livestock. Your god is one and the same god; you shall all submit to Him. Give good news to the obedient.
We also know from the Quran, that it does not matter what name we use for God, for to Him belong the most beautiful names.
[Quran 17:110] Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." ...
Since this site is in English, we use the word God.
